Wednesday Webinar at One: Ben Graham's 'Security analysis' today (Fully Booked)
Wed 20 Sep 17 at WEBINAR, Online

Ben Graham’s work laid the foundations for security analysts and the CFA charter. In 2015, CFA UK created an annual event – Aberdeen Road Lecture - in honour of Ben Graham, the founding father of both value investing and the CFA Program, who was born at 87 Aberdeen Road, London. The first presentation was delivered by Charles Brandes who met Ben Graham in the early ‘70s. Charles then launched the Brandes essay competition a chance for young investment professionals to showcase their knowledge related to Graham’s teachings.

This year’s essay question was: How would the similarities and differences between Ben Graham's time and today's investment environment affect his writings? And, what do you think Graham would change in a ‘Security Analysis' 2017 edition?

Join us for a conversation with John Citron, this year’s prize winner. Hear him talk about the making of his winning essay, and share some insights on how he approached the challenge.
