Professionalism Conference 2017 (Fully Booked)
Wed 26 Apr 17 at The Law Society, London

Applied professionalism

The investment profession has been subject to considerable scrutiny in the past year. Stewardship, charges, transparency – each of these has been raised by parliamentarians, policymakers, clients, the regulator and other stakeholders.

CFA UK’s fifth annual Professionalism Conference will report on how the investment sector and CFA UK are responding to these challenges and how the challenges may develop. We will discuss how professional practices that may improve client outcomes can be developed and the steps that need to be taken to encourage adoption and implementation across the sector. And we will use the event to release the results of key member surveys and to canvass attendees for their views.

The annual Professionalism conference coincides with the Learning & Development Forum (which takes place in the morning prior to Professionalism). This year, the L&D Forum will drill into the competencies required of today’s investment professionals and how those competencies can be honed, developed and appraised. Members can book on to either Professionalism or L&D Forum for just £40 and be registered for the other event for FREE.
